New Courtesy Car Rules.

Hi everyone. We hope you all had a good Christmas and wish you the best for the New year.

 Now the News !

We have been told by our insurers that we must make some changes as to how we let you have Free Courtesy Cars……..

Don’t Worry !…….They are still Free !

However.. We are now required to have you supply proof of cover under your own insurance, and to ask you to sign a form confirming that you have cover and that you agree to take all responsibility for the vehicle whilst in your care. This is a pain for us to administer, however in this day and age, frankly we are not surprised that this has been requested.

From January of 2011 we will ask you to produce your Insurance Certificate and your Driving License, we will photocopy these and attach them to the form that you are required to sign. These will be kept for inspection by our insurers if requested.

Generally speaking.

If you hold a Fully Comprehensive policy you will normally be insured to drive our cars with a Third Party Only cover.

If you are a named driver on another persons Comprehensive policy you may well NOT be covered, in which case you will need to contact your insurer to arrange temporary cover.

If you only have Third Party Cover. You are probably NOT covered to drive our cars, and therefore will need to arrange temporary cover.

Please Note.

This new policy has been dictated to us and we are sorry if it causes any inconvenience.

This does mean that all liabilities for the courtesy cars lie with you. It is therefore your responsibility to check your cover before signing for a car.
